BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

1. Do not take Advil, Aspirin, Ibuprofen or consume alcohol for 48 hours prior to injection time. This decreases potential for bleeding and bruising. Do NOT discontinue any of the above if you are prescribed these medications.
    

2. LIP FILLER ONLY: If you have a history of cold sores, please start an antiviral medication, such as valtrex, 3 days prior to appointment. You can not receive filler with an active outbreak (cold sore).
    

3. JAW LINE FILLER ONLY: No dental work two weeks before and two weeks after treatment.
    

4. NECK FILLER using Radiesse ONLY: No dental work two weeks before and two weeks after treatment. 

 

AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT

1. Do not travel for 72 hours. In the event of an adverse reaction you must be available for treatment.

2. Feeling tender or sore is normal. Bruising and swelling is also normal.

3. Do not exercise for 72 hours.

4. Avoid excessive sun or heat for 72 hours (sauna, steam room).

5. Avoid excessive salt intake for 72 hours. 

6. Do not massage the area unless instructed.

7. Avoid pressure on the treated area for 72 hours. Example, if receiving cheek filler, sleep on your back.

8. Adverse Reaction: Be aware for signs of a vascular occlusion such as, pain in the area treated, decreased capillary refill, abnormal and asymmetrical swelling, white or grey discoloration/spots, skin is cool to the touch. If you’re experiencing any of these post injection symptoms, please call immediately for correction.

9. You will have increased swelling for 3-4 days, and residual swelling for up to 2 weeks. Bruising is common. Bruising and swelling are normal and part of the healing process. 

10. LIP FILLER ONLY: Do not eat or drink anything hot or spicy for 24 hours.

 

CONTRAINDICATIONS

You can NOT receive treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding/pumping. If you have any auto-immune diseases or muscular skeletal diseases, and/or either of the contraindications are applicable to you, please call us at 516-996-4810 to determine if you are a candidate for the treatment prior to your appointment.

Forms of payment are cash, venmo, or zelle. Cash preferred! No credit cards. You may attach a credit card to Venmo for payment. 

 

Payment is required at the time of service. If you don’t have a Venmo account please download the app, and link your bank account information, at least 48 hours prior to your appointment, otherwise the app will not work. 

 

If paying with Venmo please remember to put a 😃 in the payment subject. Please do NOT click your payment is for a “service.” Venmo will deduct from your payment and there will be a balance owed.

 

DEPOSIT/CANCELATION POLICY
A non-refundale and non-transferable deposit is required to secure an appointment via zelle or venmo. This means if you reschedule your appointment your deposit will not transfer.
